Who is Sophia?
Sophia owns Blue Moon Vineyard and grows grapes for her own wine. She gets nervous around new people and mostly keeps to herself. Outside of work, she reads manga, watches anime and makes cosplay outfits in her sewing room. She dyed her hair pink to match a favourite anime character and liked it so much she kept it.
She is close friends with Emily and Haley, and her best friend Scarlett visits from Grampleton, often bringing Sophia’s favourite meal: Grampleton Orange Chicken.
Story note (light spoiler): Sophia’s heart events deal with grief and depression. They are handled gently and are a big reason players connect with her.
Where to find Sophia
Sophia is one of the easiest SVE characters to find because she spends most days at Blue Moon Vineyard.
Spring and Summer: Works the grape trellis fields from about 9:00 AM, ships her product mid-afternoon, then spends evenings in her craft room or reading manga.
Fall: Busy harvest season. Scarlett often stays over to help, and the two cook and hang out together.
Winter: Checks wine kegs, sews, and on some days visits Pierre’s or the Saloon.
Rainy days: Stays home, reads by the fire and works in her craft room.
Special days:
- On the 5th and 21st, she visits Harvey’s clinic.
- On Fall 4, she spends the day grieving at home and at the graveyard. Give her space.
- If you restored the Community Center, she reads there on the 22nd.

How to marry Sophia
Marrying Sophia works like marrying anyone in the base game:
- Reach 8 hearts and give her a Bouquet (from Pierre’s) to start dating.
- Reach 10 hearts.
- Upgrade your farmhouse at least once.
- Give her the Mermaid’s Pendant from the Old Mariner at the beach on a rainy day.
The wedding happens three days later.
What happens after you marry Sophia
- She keeps running the vineyard. On many weekdays she leaves to work at Blue Moon Vineyard and comes home in the evening.
- Weekends at home. She stays on the farm Saturdays and Sundays.
- Scarlett helps in fall. Scarlett comes to help with the grape harvest Monday to Wednesday.
- 12-heart events (fall): Sophia makes you a breakfast that boosts max energy and farming for a while, then asks you to help harvest. Afterwards she shares her family’s secret, making grapes and grape wine worth twice as much from the next day.
- 14-heart events: If your house has a cellar, she plans a trip to the Zuzu City Comic Con, cosplay and all. It is packed with fun easter eggs.
That 12-heart bonus makes Sophia one of the most useful spouses in SVE for a wine farm.
